Thing #17 ELM Productivity Tools

Thing #17 ELM Productivity Tools are a great resource to the libraries of Minnesota. They include articles and ebooks from the big databases EBSCO, Gale, ProQuest, WorldCat, and NetLibrary ebooks. EBSCO and NetLibray are two of my all time favorite databases. They just provide so many different resources.

I tried out the Page Composer in EBSCO. It was really interesting with all the different choice they give you to create a web page. I was also going to try the RSS feed and create a search alert, but after seeing all the questions and issues going on I decided against it.

Using the tools in these ELM resources can help you understand the unique functions of each database. Each one is a bit different, but when put together they provide a lot of resources. These tools can help not only librarians but also students. Yes, they can facilitate collaboration with colleagues with RSS feeds and other tools.
