The shoe

A shoe, a shoe, my kingdom for a shoe. Well, kind of. Today was my first day wearing a ‘real’ shoe at work and actually it was the first time I had worn a real shoe since July 21st, when I walked into surgery. Both the podiatrist and the PT doctor said I need to start to wear a shoe this week, even with me whining about how its going to hurt. Good, its suppose to hurt was their basic response. So I am still driving with the boot and then change into the shoe when I get into my office. Small steps (pun intended). After 8.5 hours at work in a real shoe my foot was very swollen and hurt pretty bad. Hopefully tomorrow is better.
