Sarah Ferguson in Conversation with Samantha Barry: A Most Intriguing Lady

Another day, another member of the royal family promoting a book. Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York was promoting her new book tonight at The 92nd Street Y with a live talk: “Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York in Conversation with Samantha Barry: A Most Intriguing Lady” and it was also streamed online. It was an interesting discussion, much more so than Prince Harry’s last week. She mentioned how the Queen loved the magnolia flowers and that she was very funny. She also said that she loves the Queen’s two corgis that she is taking care of and that they are very well behaved. Interestingly she said that if she had to do it all over again she would “learned to play the game and play it better.” Another fun fact is that she wants to be in a Hallmark movie and she has written 77 books.

Here is the official blurb from the event, which will eventually be posted online:

“Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York (popularly known as “Fergie”), former sister-in-law to King Charles, makes a rare in-person appearance at The 92nd Street Y, New York during her upcoming visit to NYC. Join her for a conversation about her new novel, A Most Intriguing Lady, which draws upon historical characters and biographical elements from the Duchess’ life and family lineage” (https://www.92ny.org/event/sarah-ferguson).
