If you are going to buy a kids book this year, buy “Snow” by Cynthia Rylant and illustrated by Lauren Stringer. Its a beautiful book. Also Lauren Stringer is a very nice lady. She kindly autographed a stack of books for me and she has the cutest bookmarks which say “In winter, bodies sit closer, books last longer, and hugs squeeze the warmest”. Plus she is a Minnesota author!
