Happy Thanksgiving!
A fun turkey day so far. I saw the movie ‘Australia’ this morning and it was wonderful. It also had a happy ending, which is a good thing. I was a bit concerned about the ending as its a Baz Luhrmann movie and he is not known for movies with happy endings (remember that ‘Romeo + Juliet’ and ‘Moulin Rouge!’ did not have happy endings. Great films, but sad endings). The best part of the movie is the sweeping landscape and of course the love story.
Here are a few pre-parting photos. I ended up cooking (if you can call it that) for today. I made a spinach dip and that weird bean/corn/avocado salad. Here is also a photo of my dad and Che cat napping (they should be putting up Christmas decorations outside, but instead they are napping).
