So the usual pizza Tuesday was replaced by pasta Tuesday from Noodles. I went with the old standby Mac and Cheese. But I added broccoli! Did you know the word broccoli is from the Italian piccoli bracci which means ‘little arms.’ Personally I have always thought they looked like little trees.
Sadly, they did not have the broccoli dried off enough, so the water from the cooked broccoli made some of the Mac and Cheese a bit soggy. Might I also add they only gave me like 6 pieces of broccoli for $.75 (that’s more then 10 cents a piece, which is pretty pricey!).
