Stammtisch (Optional)

–It is a German tradition for regulars to gather around a table at a local pub or restaurant for an informal discussion of the events of the day.  I would like to afford everyone an opportunity to participate in a daily “Stammtisch” during our trip.  I will convene an informal academic discussion on one or more aspects of the event on the program each day, in either the afternoon or evening.  These Stammtisch sessions are optional and I do not expect everyone to participate.  However, for those who decide to join in, we can choose a restaurant and time based on collective interest and preferences each day.

–Site: Chinese Tower Beer Garden in the English Garden Park.

–Directions: 10-minute walk from LMU.
