My third and final zoom book lecture was tonight and it featured Jon Meacham. Meacham is my favorite historian and one of my favorite authors. He makes historical figures come alive and he talks the way that most people hope they do, but don’t. He is, in other words, a total smart ass. He was discussing his new book on Lincoln, but he also mentioned many of his other books during this talk with Clint Smith.
