Congratulations Doctor Michelle Watts PhD!!!
My friend Michelle finished her PhD this Fall 2018 and is now officially a Doctor. Michelle’s dissertation is “Tribal governance in the United States: Adaptation and Change” and can be read here: https://aquila.usm.edu/dissertations/1594/. You might notice that its been embargoed until Monday December 07, 2020, but I got an official copy and thank you to Michelle for ‘thank you’ as part of the “USM village of students and former students.” I like that. I once made a comment that it takes a village to raise a PhD student to Madeline and J and they both rolled their eyes. Haha, but it really does.
