Sloane brought Louisa and Julian over for Christmas gifts today (which also included a Santa sighting via the local fire department on their annual tour around the neighborhood and a phone call from Santa on the phone) and like any good and slightly crazy Aunt I got them my annual signed first edition book (this years book was “Last Laughs: Animal Epitaphs” by Jane Yolen and J Patrick Lewis and illustrated by Jeffrey Stewart Timmins) and their very own little Tardis (yes it is bigger on the inside) and some Lucky Charms marshmallows without the cereal. Why yes, I am one cool aunt (who received a lovely scarf and yummy holiday cookies/candy. Thanks for the gifts!).
