Canada Day 2

Canada Day 2

A busy, cold day, and one willed with SNOW! Yes, snow!

So the day started out early, as Madeline was presenting her paper at 8:15AM with the ‘There and Here, Today and Tomorrow: Migrant Remittance, Governance, and International Relations’ panel. Her paper was originally titled ‘Remittances, FDI, Natural Resources, Aid, or Trade: Are Remittances Most Effective a Promoting Growth When Institutional Quality is Poor?’ to ‘A Comparative Analysis of Migrants’ Remittances and Foreign Aid: Impacts on Corruption.’ Then off to class at 11AM for IDV 711 International Political Economy where my group had to led the discussion. Lunch at the Trios Bistro where I had a really good Mexican Style Pork Sandwich and class again at 7PM IDV 795 US National Security.
