Today’s email read:
“Dear Melissa and Erika, Thank you for submitting your revised proposal. I’m pleased to report that your book proposal has been approved by our Editorial Board. Congratulations!”
How totally exciting is that! So a few weeks ago I was contacted to see if I was interested in writing a book for librarians. So I asked Erika (fellow librarian and keeper of corgis) if she would be interested in co-authoring a book with me. We worked on the proposal, sent it in, had it accepted, and now we are moving on to the next step. Still a lot of steps to go, but my first book! Wicked!
