A beautiful day to fly! I had one of my remaining helicopter flying lessons today (just one left after today) and while there was no wind on the ground, at about 1500 feet there was a lot of wind. It was so nice out that Kristie took the doors off the R22, which turned out to be a bit windy, but we had lots of fresh air. We saw a Blackhawk military helicopter (actually we heard him first talking to the airport tower) and Kristie saw a wild turkey run across the runway (I tried to look, but I was trying to land the helicopter so I missed see it).
