Today was my Week Eight doctor appointment for my foot. X-rays were once again taken. My foot is healing nicely I was told, but I should still expect pain and swelling. Really? Pain and swelling? No kidding! I still have lots of pain and swelling, plus there was extra pain and swelling this week when I finally wore a shoe to work. On Thursday I work a Crocs shoe (the only shoe my foot will fit into due to the swelling) for the first time and only for half the day. By the time I got home it was pretty swollen and painful. Otherwise my doctor said that by next month most of the swelling should be gone and by the fourth month I will no longer be in pain.
