Today was a perfect day for a wedding. It was bright, sunny, and not too hot or windy, plus no bugs. The ceremony took place out at the Point of Silence which overlooked the mountains and trees and there were some hawks flying overhead. The actual ceremony only took about 30 minutes and then we were off to lunch. The cellists played a mixture of classical songs and rock and roll (including songs from the Beatles and the Turtles) and the food was great. There were photos of Madeline and Brian playing in the background at lunch and I was in one of them and I took two other photos (all three were from Mississippi)! The rest of the day consisted of visiting and talking with Madeline and Brian’s friends and relatives, eating, and going to the gift store. There was no dance planned, but apparently my harassing Madeline about the Chicken Dance broke her down and someone at Sacramento found a tape of the song. So we did the Chicken Dance!
