Walter F. Mondale

Vice President and Minnesotian Walter ‘Fritz’ Mondale died today (4/19/2021). He was 93.

Mondale was the 42nd Vice President and was also a diplomat and lawyer and over the past few years was doing some teaching at the University of Minnesota. After being Vice President for President Jimmy Carter, he ran for president and picked Geraldine Ferraro who was the first female VP nominee back in 1984. Sadly they lost the election but won the state of Minnesota. I just saw him in a zoom lecture back in November and he looked good. RIP Water.
