Due to the continual foot pain caused by my surgery, and as next week is the 7 month mark, I was back to the doctor for a shot of cortisone to help with the pain and swelling. I have never received a shot of cortisone before and I will never again! The shot was terrible! Appreciably things are not healing well and it turns out there is a lot of deep scar tissue and now a clicking noise. So it took forever to get the needle into the scar tissue, both the doctor and nurse commented on how much scar tissue there is. Needless to say there was a lot of pain, some yelling, and a few tears (the nurse did pour some freezing pain killing stuff where the needle was injected, but it did not help that much). I also might have told my doctor that he was diabolically evil. If this does not work I have to go back for a booster shot and physical therapy. This foot pain that will never end…
