The new toy

For the past six months or so, I have been reading about the Asus Ess PC computers. They are really tiny, weigh only 2 lbs, have a 4 GB Hard Drive, run on Linux, 7-inch display, and have the Open Office suite. So I finally broke down and bought one after getting the chance to see one in real life. Its really cute and works well. The only thing that I need to get use to is the tiny screen and really small keyboard. My main reason for buying it was because I really don’t want to lug around my normal size lap top this summer when I travel, so I figured that this would be a good substitute as its lightweight and has email.

I also got a nice blue and orange (reversible) case for it. Also in the photo is the 1 GB jump drive that I received for finishing up the ’23 Things on a Stick.’
