This weekend I was invited to the cabin of one of my oldest friends Kelley and her husband Marc (and her fabulous parents Jan and Linda). It was a gorgeous weekend and the drive to Wisconsin was lovely with no road constructions (I took the side roads, so that may be why). This is basically how the Saturday progressed: talking, eating, drinking, boating, talking, drinking, boating, talking, eating, night boating, eating, etc. You get the idea. While out on the pontoon I saw a loon and its baby, an eagle, bats, lots of beautiful houses and trees. We stopped a nice restaurant for a moment (they were the ones with the great sign on their deck). I won at this interesting card game (dont remember what it was called) and ate beets for the first time. I also almost ran over a opossum, but lucky it heard my horn and saw me serve so I did not squish it. It was a really long day, but I had a great time! Thanks Kel, Marc, Jan and Linda!!!
