I went into the library today, no we are not open, to shelve books. Yes, it’s as exciting as it sounds. The library is freaky quiet with no one around and so I blared my music as I shelved. The Beatles One was the album of the day. And yes, I might have sung along.
The weirdest thing is that someone left flowers and an alarm clock in the library. Yes, this is despite the fact that the library has been locked down for 5 months. Library ghosts? Hmmm probably not. While there are ghosts in other buildings (I have asked facilities about this over the years and they have admitted to seeing weird things in other buildings), my library had none. So people breaking in and leaving flowers? I have seen weirder things and so it would not surprise me.
Also the old office is now totally cleared out and my boxes (one which was opened) are in the new cube.
