I ventured onto campus today to pack up my office/desk, so that when the library reopens (and campus reopen) we will be returning to a ‘new library’. Campus was so deserted. Its normally slow in the summer, but with campus closed due to the pandemic it was even deader (pardon the pun). I did see lots of people with masks, but I did see some losers without masks. Wear your mask people! It took me hours to sort through things, pack things, throw things, etc., as I figured back in January/February/March when we left the ‘old library’ due to the pandemic that I would have plenty of time to weed through paperwork, books, and stuff before I had to pack things up, but that was not the case. I ended up with 5 boxes and a book cart full to stuff. I also took a sneak peek into the ‘new library’. It’s looking really nice and sooo clean! Sadly I will be losing my office for the land of the cubes.
