One of my favorite writer’s Tim Mackintosh-Smith is finally releasing his latest adventures in following in the footsteps of Ibn Battutah this July 1, called “Worlds Beyond the Wind.” If you have not read his other Battutah travels books or his book on Yemen, you really should. Also William Dalrymple has “Nine Lives: A Portrait of Modern India” comes out in October. While nothing could compare to his ‘From the Holy Mountain,’ I am sure this one will be excellent too. Guess I will be using amazon.co.uk a lot in the coming months!
