I just received the new Philip Pullman book Once Upon a Time in the North and its adorable. While I have not yet had time to read it (too busy getting ready for tomorrows talk) I have paged thought it. I don’t know what the US version will look like, but my UK one is great. The version I have has all sorts of beautiful engravings and also comes with a game and game pieces! The game is called “Peril of the Pole.” All of which are tucked in at the back of the book. This books size is a little bigger then Lyra’s Oxford, and tells the story of Lee Scoresby and Iorek Byrnison.
