A fun filled week of foot torture. First a regular foot appointment and the seeing that the cortisone did not work, it was decided that I should now try physical therapy for my continued foot pain due to the deep internal scaring. So off to physical therapy I went, where I had ultrasound theory (to help break up the deep scaring), lots of manual therapy of stretching, flexing, and moving the toe and foot, and then Iontophoresis where they put pain medication on patch and administer it via electrical charges. Now just a month more of these treatments and my foot should be back to normal? Sure. Right.
