The Nearly Total Lunar Eclipse happened today. It was over six hours long and an eclipse that long had not happened in 580 or so years or since the 1440s. I totally forgot about it and then remembered at 4am! So I woke up and debated about getting out of bed, then got out of bed a little after 4am and looked outside through the window, then went back to bed and debated if I should go outside. So I got up and went outside and looked at the eclipse. It was 19 degrees and there were clouds. 19 degrees! So not the best viewing weather, but I could still see the eclipse so totally worth it.
