Day 2 of the IDV PhD Summer In-Person
Once again breakfast at 8am (grits were on the menu!)
8:30-11:30am IDV 880 Political Economy of Oil with Dr. St. Marie
12-1:45 lunch
6pm Social hour and supper
Today is the last day of the summer In-Person and time is just flying by. Its also extremely hot and humid, as only Mississippi can be. During the final Political Oil class we did a interesting oil crisis simulation and I got to play the part of the Political Counselor to the President (My basic job was to keep mentioning that it was an election year and the President’s numbers were really low).
