Mississippi Day #1

My printer would not work and so I could not print off my PhD Dissertation Proposal Paper and Slides. So looking around the MSP Airport and not finding anywhere to print, I stopped at the Information Desk and met a lady who works for the awesome MSP Airport Conference Center and she made me copies! How wonderful is that. This is why @mspairport is a great airport! They have the best people at the best airport! Thank you!

Weather: Cold in Minnesota – I was wearing mittens, Raining in Atlanta, and Raining and humid in Gulfport. 93% humidity.

Since I was only in Mississippi for 1 day I decided to pack light, so just the backpack and my purse. I was able to squish everything in but they were bulky to carry around. When I got to the hotel I found a water logged Monarch butterfly. Poor little thing could not move. And as he was in the middle of the parking lot, he was going to get squished. So I picked him up and moved him over to some shrubs. He was moving his wings and drying them the next time I saw him. And the last time I walked by he was going. I am sure on his way to Mexico with all the other Monarchs. Now, if a hurricane starts somewhere in the world I don’t want to hear about it. Eventually the rain ended on Wednesday and it looked beautiful, until Thursday when it started to rain again. Crazy, wet, humid, weather!
