The Minnesota Winter seems to be winning. Today there is yet another winter storm and its causing all sorts of problems.
Me: I was at a stop sign this afternoon and the person in the car in behind me slid into my car and I slid into the car in front of me. I am fine (a bit sore) and my car is fine (a few new stylish scratches).
My sister: Michelle tripped and fell in her parking garage. The cart she had with her fell on top of her, leaving her face down on the ground and looking like roadkill.
My mom: Mom was driving to my aunt’s birthday party (Happy Birthday Jane!) and slid into a snow bank.
My dad: Dad was walking down a small hill to his truck and wiped out.
I also heard that my cousin Anne is trapped in Atlanta trying to get back to Minnesota, but hundreds of flights have been canceled due to the weather. Poor thing. Been there, done that. Not fun.
Minnesota winters are not for the weak!
