Tonight I attended my third Marian Call concert!
I first saw Marian live in concert back in May 2010 when she was starting her 49>50 Tour and then again when she was finishing the tour in November 2010. Then Marian created a Donor Circle to fund her latest CD Something Fierce and I signed up. It’s a great album (but my favorite is still ‘Got To Fly’) and has some wickedly cool liner notes (why you might ask are they wickedly cool? Because my name is in them that’s why!). Tonight, to a pretty large crowd of geeks (it was held at the Geek Partnership Society), she put on a fantastic concert and sang some of her great geeky songs, including Got To Fly, I’ll Still be a Geek After Nobody Thinks it’s Chic (the Nerd Anthem), Good Morning Moon, Dear Mister Darcy, and Shark Week!
