I shall name thee Lake Melissa!
Its been developing for a few days, but I now have a new lake in my backyard due to melting snow, frozen ground, & idiot neighbor’s fence. Many feet before I even reached open water (which is at least a foot deep), I was walking in the water, as the water is a now a layer between the froze ground and the snow on top. Ducky added for scale.
