Happy Birthday Mom! Today is my mom’s birthday (and never mind how many of the 60+ candles are on the cake). Mom has always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon, so this year Me, Michelle and Che went together and got her (and a guest) a ride! It’s with Aamodt’s Hot Air Balloon Rides in Stillwater. The flight comes with a free t-shirt saying that she flew over the St. Croix Valley in a hot air balloon! The flight lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours and then the chase crew brings them back to Aamodt’s Apple Farm for a traditional champagne (or sparkling apple cider) toast. In all, the whole experience lasts about 3 hours.
