Great Aunt Angie

Today was the funeral for my Great Aunt Angie. She was my Grandmother’s younger sister and had just turned 90 this year. Angie was a spunky, nice lady and her children and grandchildren are some of my favorite relatives. When my mom was young she would be sent to Angie and her family’s farm for a few weeks during the summer and inevitably my Mom would be injured playing around the farm equipment or the silos. Around 10 years ago Angie and my Mom had an argument about how to make goulash. To prove that she was correct, Angie sent my mom a box of macaroni! I will always remember her wild sense of humor and her playing bingo at the family picnics. She will be missed.
