After many tries, I was finally able to fly to the Forest Lake Airport (K25D) and land on their grass runway. There are not that many grass runways around, so its sad to hear that they are thinking about paving the runway. Forest Lake Airport is a great little airport and they have a new Arrival and Departure lounge as well. So another stamp collected for my Fly Minnesota Passport. FYI…landing on grass is actually kind of difficult, as the trick is not to use your breaks. I find this a bit challenging, as I tend to ride the breaks!
