Drone World Expo

I am in San Jose to attend the 3rd annual Drone World Expo from October 3-4, 2017. The schedule was filled with too many fabulous talks (sad to have that problem at a conference) and the speakers were individuals that ranged from the FAA to AOPA to NASA to private industry to even a few people in academics.

It was an action packed first day and by the end of the night I was in information overload. There was a fantastic ‘Women of Commercial Drones Roundtables’ event and it was really fun to talk to some inspiring women doing amazing things in drones. Other great talks include talks on air traffic control and drones, security and drones, law enforcement and drones, and the news and drones. The Kratsios talk was the most disappointing talk of the whole expo, as he just kept repeating the party line and offered no relevant drone information.

Talks attended:

The State of UTM: Policy and Air Traffic Management Updates from Around the Globe

11:45 AM – 12:45 PM
