On Friday I learned how to give diabetic shots to Ginger. Needless to say, it was traumatic for all involved.
When Ginger was adopted a year ago (October 4, 2014) she was a little thin, but healthy and active and then over the past year she has put on a few pounds, as all spoiled kitty’s tend to do. But since July she has lost a lot of weight and so off to the vet she went. Blood results came back this past week that her blood sugar levels are super high. So now she has to have shots two times a day. Poor kitty.
