Today is the 2nd anniversary of my Dad’s death. It still seems weird and not real. One of my favorite photos of Dad is below. Over the last few years he started to bake the odd apple pie (besides the occasional goulash, chili, pea soup, roast beef, and cranberry’s for Christmas). I am not sure where this baking idea came from as the Aho baking (or cooking) gene is not particularly strong in our family.
