Tonight was Chocolate and Lace at Running Aces Harness Park. So the ladies (Carole, Janet, Sloane, Sue, and Me) went for a ladies night of “blackjack, chocolate, wine, spa services, and more!” There was also a very cool psychic who said that I would receive good news on my Qualifying Exam score (which is good to hear as it has been 2 weeks with no word). The blackjack tournament consisted of 21 hands of cards and we were given a total of $1000 in fake chips. I lost all my chips with 3 hands to go, but Sloane won 1st place and a $50 gift card and Janet won 2nd place which was a bag full of Mary Kay items. Running Aces is a fun place. Lets hope that they are allowed to have slot machines!
