Chocolate and Lace

Tonight I attended another Chocolate and Lace event at Running Aces with Mom, Sue, Janet, Zena, and Cheryl. We were expecting blackjack, as that’s what we always played in the past at these events, but this time it was poker (or Texas Hold’em to be more precise). I have never playing poker before, so I was horribly lost, but that did not stop the fun with all the chocolate, vendors, and food. I had another psych reading and after looking at the cards for a long time, the psychic said not to do anything new this year and take no risks (keep everything the same), but next year will be great. Mom had a great psychic reading, but then she always does. I won a bracelet in a drawing and Zena won some press-on nails. Sue ended up coming in second at our table for the night (she was really good) and won a gift certificate to Pampered Chief.
