Today’s zoom talk was by Warwick’s bookstore: “Chelsea Clinton and Atia Abawi SHE PERSISTED: SALLY RIDE” and hosted by Dr. Karen Flammer. She Persisted: Sally Ride is another children’s book in Chelsea’s series of She Persisted books on women who made history and this one is on the awesome Sally Ride! Fun fact: did you know that Sally wanted to be a professional tennis player?

Dr. Karen Flammer is the Director of Digital Learning at UC San Diego. She served as Interim Director from March – September 2017, during which time she worked with UC San Diego faculty and the Teaching + Learning Commons to launch a MOOC Professional Certificate Program on the EdX platform and launch a Micromasters in Data Science online.
