One of my favorite authors, Kerry Greenwood, died this year. She wrote the fantastic Miss Phryne Fisher mysteries, and because her books are always published first in Australia and I refuse to wait for them to be published next year in the US, I ordered them from Australia. Yes, it takes a while to arrive, yes it costs more, but this is 2025 and there is no good reason why I can’t have the book now.
