Back to Mississippi today to take my Comprehensive PhD Oral Exams!
While at the MSP Airport I stopped in a bookstore and looked for Patrick Rothfuss books, as I know that he signs copies when he goes through the Airport. While I expected to find The Name of the Wind, I did not expect to find an autographed copy, but look what I found! A autographed copy!
The flights down were luckily uneventful, but my flight to Gulfport had two military dogs on it. They were incredibly well behaved and if you did not know they were there, you never would have noticed them. I said to the guy sitting next to me that they were better behaved than the most kids that fly and the guy said they were better behaved than his kids!
So back in Mississippi or as I like to refer to it, the land of the frizzy hair. Seriously the humidity, in April, is insane.
