Today was the 2nd Annual Let’s Go to a Twins Game in the Middle of a Work Day.
It had been raining a few days before, and so the Twins were playing two games against the Cleveland Guardians (they were the Cleveland Indians for over 100 years until they had a name change in 2021, but they were also called the Cleveland Lakeshores, the Cleveland Bulebirds, the Cleveland Broncos, the Cleveland Naps – so basically a rose by any other name) today. The first game was a continuation of the rain suspension from Monday, May 19, and they won 6-5! Then I stayed for the first inning or so of the second game, which they ended up losing 1-5, to go to work. I was also briefly on the big screen – look for the red blur on my jacket in the video. Even though it was cold and a bit drizzly, a fun time was had by all.
