Dr. Bob is one of my favorite people from the library. He has been working on a book about cancer for the past few years and would come into the library with some of the best research requests. With the library closed and then limited due to the pandemic, he could not visit the library and so he would send me emails with his research requests. This morning I was finally able to stop and visit him at his home. I had a wonderful visit and it was great to see him in person after almost 1.5 years. I brought him two croissants (and a copy of ‘Crocodile on the Sandbank’ by Elizabeth Peters as I don’t think he has read it and it’s such a fun book) and left with three British mysteries (Agatha Raisin 1-3) that he had just finished. A huge mystery fan, he is the one that got me hooked on the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries tv show. Happy reading Dr. Bob!
