My friend Cece is now officially Dr. Caroline Churchill, PhD (well almost, soon to be officially, there are still corrections to the dissertation and paperwork and dealing with the committee and all that jazz). Today was her Thesis Defense Seminar “The impact of gene transfer of arginine decarboxylase to the central nervous system on opioid analgesic tolerance” from the Department of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota. She had a great turnout for her talk and lots of her friends and relatives attended. I was even thanked when she was thanking her family and friends (unless she has another friend named Melissa who was being thanked? Hmmm). Congratulations Cece!!!
