The MN 99s Spring Meeting

The Minnesota 99s had their quarterly Spring Business Meeting this afternoon at the Owatonna Regional Airport airport. The airport aka “The Owatonna Degner Regional Airport” is a beautiful facility filled with all sorts of aviation art and a very friendly staff. During the Business Meeting member Johanna gave a talk on a very scary subject “Aviation Medical Certification” (Did you know that you cannot fly an airplane after you take anti-malaria pills? Who knew!) and I won 2 pieces of candy in the “Name that Airport” portion of Johanna’s talk (my two answers were the airports at JFK and Tegucigalpa- I used this airport when I lived in Honduras – crazy short runway, but the smoke from the slashing and burning of the crops always worried me more, especially at the La Ceiba Airport). Also during the meeting we were able to see and purchase the new t-shirt, which is so cute!
