For Christmas I bought my sister tickets to a Marisa Monte concert. Michelle became a fan of Monte when she was living in Brazil in the late-1990s.
The concert was tonight. I was to meet up with Michelle so we could Lyft over to the concert together. I arrived early to the designated parking lot and waited and waited and waited. I waited almost an hour in the cold. Michelle was a no show. Her excuse was that “she had nothing to wear and Brazilians dress up.” Its Minnesota in March and its 23 degrees out and everyone will be masking. No one cares what you wear. Very sad and very disappointing.
