Mankato was the site of the last air marking of the year and the fall Minnesota 99’s meeting. While windy and cold, some of the 99’s were able to fly to the event. Sadly I drove. It took me a bit over 2 hours via car to get to Mankato- a long and dull drive (a bit longer on the way home as I took a wrong turn and was heading towards Iowa). While hard work, the air markings are always fun and I now have a lovely yellow color added to my painting cloths.
