Up early this morning for class at 7am (yes, a 7-9am class). Then breakfast with Madeline at Lori’s Diner and it was back to class from 1-3pm. Then off to the conference to see Madeline present her paper “Using Lethal Force: Should Former Victims of Intimate Partner Violence Consider Gun Control” under the panel Women, Guns, and Political Activism and Majid present his paper on “The Challenges of the New Emerging Arab Order, Will it be Another Sykes Picot?” at The New Geopolitics of the Mid-East panel. Supper was at Lefty O’Doul’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge where I had a great mac & cheese, egg custard, and a interesting turkey enchilada. Long, but fun day.
