Who does not love a royal wedding? My twin and I got up for the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana back in 1981 and I have been getting up for royal weddings ever sense. For Harry and Meghan (the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) I just stayed up and read and watched the pre-wedding shows starting at 3am. But it was a beautiful, lush wedding, with so much green from the park and the flowers in the Chapel. Beautiful decorations and flowers. The music was amazing. Prince Charles walking Meghan though the Chapel was lovely. Some of the guests outfits left much to be desired (I saw a few ladies without hats or fascinators and one woman was holding her cell phone in the Chapel), but as a hat lover, there were so many beautiful hats to be found. Meghan’s two dresses were incredible, but I thought they should have had a touch of color. It was a beautiful ceremony. And if one had to pick a best line from the event it was by Reverend Michael Bruce Curry: “Two people fell in love, and we all showed up!”
