It was a little cloudy and a little rainy today, but that did not stop us from flying! I was able to fly through a little rain shower and a little sleet (or really thick rain). Then after my hour was over, Instructor Cheryl and Instructor Dave were going to work on some instrument flying and invited me along for the ride.
I had never flown as a passenger in the Sundowner before and it was a very nice ride. We flew west and near the Target Headquarters in Brooklyn Center, over the mighty Mississippi River, and then east and flew almost to the Wisconsin border. We (well, Cheryl and Dave actually) even flew over my house. A great flying day!
